FSRU vessel 'LNG CROATIA' sailed from Viktor Lenac shipyard

Zagreb, 21st November 2020 – This morning, the FSRU vessel 'LNG CROATIA' left Viktor Lenac shipyard. The FSRU vessel has departed for Spain, the port of Sagunto, where the cargo necessary for commissioning of the terminal will be loaded on the FSRU.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON THE AMENDMENTS OF THE RULES OF OPERATION OF LNG TERMINAL

Technical supervision of the LNG terminal on the Island of Krk is in progress

Zagreb, 26th October 2020 - the procedure of technical supervision of the LNG terminal on the Island of Krk, carried out by the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia, the Directorate of Civil Protection, Sector for Explosive Atmospheres, is in progress.

FSRU vessel 'LNG CROATIA' sailed into the Viktor Lenac shipyard

Zagreb, 14th October 2020 – This morning, the FSRU vessel 'LNG CROATIA' sailed into the Viktor Lenac shipyard. The FSRU vessel will remain in the shipyard until additional final tests of specific systems are carried out and which are expected to last up to 4 weeks. In accordance with the planned project activities, the arrival of the FSRU vessel at the location of the terminal is expected in early December this year, when all activities related to the commissioning of the terminal will begin, all in order for the terminal to start operating on 1st January 2021.

FSRU vessel 'LNG Croatia' sets sail towards Europe

Zagreb, 22nd September 2020 - LNG CROATIA is pleased to inform interested public that FSRU ‘LNG CROATIA’, formerly known as LNG carrier ‘GOLAR VIKING’, has departed from China on 20th September 2020, and its currently heading for Europe.

ALL FREE TERMINAL CAPACITY HAS BEEN BOOKED

Zagreb, 15th June 2020 – We hereby inform all interested parties that all free terminal capacity has been booked for the next 3 gas years and that there is no more available capacity.

NOTICE ABOUT INCREASED LNG REGASIFICATION CAPACITY BOOKING

Zagreb, 5th June 2020 - Pursuant to the Rules of operation of liquefied natural gas terminal (Official Gazette, number 60/18 and 39/20), all interested LNG terminal users can book long-term LNG regasification capacity every year by 15 June. We hereby inform all interested terminal users that MFGK Croatia d.o.o. has booked LNG regasification capacity in the amounts as follows:

CHANGES IN THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF LNG CROATIA

We are informing all interested public that the Assembly of the LNG Croatia has released Barbara Dorić, PhD from her position as a Managing Director at her own request due to the appointment as a Member of the Management Board of  INA-Industrija nafte d.d. MINISTER ĆORIĆ AND LNG DIRECTOR DORIĆ VISITED LNG TERMINAL CONSTRUCTION SITE ON THE ISLAND OF KRK

Minister of Environment and Energy Tomislav Ćorić, PhD and Director of LNG Croatia Barbara Dorić, PhD visited construction site of the LNG terminal on the Island of Krk. 

STRATEGIC PROJECT: FIRST SHIPS WITH GAS ON LNG TERMINAL KRK IN ONE YEAR

So far, we have completed 55 percent of the work, everything is within the planned deadlines and we expect the LNG terminal to start operating on 1 January next year, said Dobroslav Šestanović, chief engineer at the site of the largest Croatian energy project - the liquefied natural gas terminal in Omišalj on the Island of Krk.

EUROPEAN COMMISSION APPROVED PUBLIC SUPPORT FOR CROATIAN LNG TERMINAL ON THE ISLAND OF KRK

The European Commission has found Croatian plans to support the construction and operation of a liquid natural gas (LNG) terminal at Krk island to be in line with EU State aid rules. The project will contribute to the security and diversification of energy supply without unduly distorting competition.

PROGRESS OF LNG TERMINAL CONSTRUCTION WORKS

Following the inaccurate information on the works on the construction site of the LNG terminal on the island of Krk, which were placed by the Mayor of Municipality Omišalj, we would like to inform all interested public about the progress of the construction works.

NOTICE ON ADOPTION OF FINAL INVESTMENT DECISION

In accordance with planned deadlines for the construction of the floating LNG terminal on the Island of Krk, a Final Investment Decision was adopted on 31 January 2019.

THE SECOND ROUND OF BINDING OPEN SEASON PROCEDURE IS CLOSED

Until the deadline for submission of bids in the second round of the Open Season procedure for contracting the terminal regasification capacities which was on 20 December 2018, LNG Croatia received bids for binding capacities booking of the terminal in the amount of 0.52 billion cubic meters.

PROCUREMENT PROCEDURE FOR FSRU IS CLOSED

LNG Croatia LLC received three bids in the procurement procedure for “Floating Storage & Regasification Unit (”FSRU”) with the provision of FSRU operation and maintenance services”. Until the deadline for submission of bids, which was on 5 October 2018 at 2 pm, the bids were received from the following companies: Golar Power Limited, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and Maran Gas Maritime Inc.
