Zagreb, 26th October 2021 – At the final event organized by Lider Invest, company LNG Croatia LLC was declared the best large production investment in the Republic of Croatia for 2021. Despite the pandemic circumstances, LNG Croatia completed the construction of the LNG Terminal and the conversion of the FSRU ship within the set deadline and at the beginning of the year the Terminal started commercial operation. The total value of investment is EUR 234 million, and its completion has enabled a new safe and reliable source of natural gas for the market in the Republic of Croatia and the region. In the first gas year (until 30.09.2021), the LNG terminal delivered 1.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas on the market, which in the first 9 months of operation enabled the supply of almost 50% of the Croatian market. New services enable the development of natural gas business in this part of Europe. The award was received by the managing director of the company Mr. Hrvoje Krhen on behalf of LNG Croatia LLC.
