Parties interested in participating in capacity allocation auctions and contracting terminal capacity may do so by entering into a Registration Agreement with the terminal operator.

Who Can Submit a Request
A request to conclude a Registration Agreement may be submitted by:

  • a gas supplier, or
  • a gas trader

holding a valid license to perform energy activities in accordance with the regulations of the Republic of Croatia.
Requests may be submitted at any time.
*Exceptionally, a party wishing to participate in a capacity allocation auction must submit the request no later than 60 days prior to the start of the auction.

Documentation Required with the Request
Along with the request to conclude a Registration Agreement, the applicant must submit the following documents:

  1. An excerpt from the court register or a power of attorney certified by a public notary.
  2. A copy of the valid license for performing the energy activity of gas supply and/or gas trading, issued by the Croatian Energy Regulatory Agency (HERA).
  3. Financial documentation demonstrating financial capability and/or planned sources of financing to ensure timely payment of terminal capacity usage fees, including (but not limited to):
    • financial statements,
    • creditworthiness reports and other solvency certificates.

A registered user becomes a terminal user only after contracting terminal capacity and entering into a Terminal Use Agreement with the terminal operator.
