Omišalj, 30th June 2023. – As a part of the Study abroad program that is being organized by the University of Texas at Austin (UTA) and the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mining Geology and Petroleum Engineering, students from Texas and Croatia visited the Croatian LNG terminal in Omišalj. The student group was led by Professor Maša Prodanović and Associate Professor Michael Pyrcz in coordination with Professor Daria Karasalihović Sedlar. During their visit, students were given lectures about all security protocols that are being used for efficient functioning of the Terminal. The student visit to the Terminal is just a follow-up to the Petroleum Engineering summer school that is held in Dubrovnik every year. LNG Croatia strongly supports that program and was happy to give a practical lesson to students.
