LNG Truck Loading Service

Reload of LNG from the Terminal into a Truck (also known as Ship-to-Truck Service) enables terminal users to load LNG from the terminal’s storage tanks into specially equipped road vehicles (LNG tank trucks). This service allows for flexible LNG distribution to end users located outside the reach of the gas transmission network.

LNG Truck Approval Procedure

Before entering the terminal, every LNG tank truck must undergo a technical inspection and approval process to ensure its compatibility with the terminal’s technical systems.

The procedure includes the following steps:

  • The terminal user (or their designated point of contact) submits a Request for Approval. Alongside with Request for Approval form, terminal user/point of contact needs to deliver Documentation for Compatibility Analysis of the Truck with the terminal.
  • The terminal operator conducts a technical review of the documentation and may request additional clarifications or supplementary information if needed.
  • Upon successful completion of the review, the terminal operator issues an Approval from the terminal by which Truck has successfully passed approval procedure and it is accepted by the terminal operator.
  • In case of incomplete or untimely submitted documentation, the terminal operator may reject the truck approval request.
